Mini's
A few times a year I clear one day for mini sessions—short, sweet, back-to-back slots in a beautiful location. They’re quick 10 or 15 minute shoots and priced accordingly, perfect if you’d love some updated family photos but don’t need (or want to pay for) a full session. As soon as I announce the date, the calendar opens and you’re welcome to grab a time that works for you and your family. I truly love these days in order to bless you with these simple, joy-filled pictures.

FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Lovely! I’m so honored you chose me for your very first photo shoot. And this message is for anyone who’s ever felt a little awkward in front of the camera—whether it’s your first shoot or your fiftieth! I totally get it (I’m the same way!). That’s why I’ve created a natural, easygoing flow for all of my sessions. You’ll never be left wondering what to do—I'll gently guide and encourage you every step of the way, helping you feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself.
What happens if the weather is unfavourable for an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate for a short outdoor shoot, we have a couple of great options: we can either reschedule, or move to an indoor location. There are plenty of lovely studios in Louisville I can rent by the hour, or if you have a naturally lit indoor space in mind, I’m happy to work with that too!
Will there be a second shooter?
All my wedding and event packages include a second shooter, though you can opt out if needed. I encourage keeping one because having two photographers means no special moment is missed and you get two creative perspectives. Smaller sessions like portraits and families don’t include a second shooter, as one is usually enough.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
I'm happy to cover travel expenses for bookings within a 50-mile radius. For locations beyond that, a small additional fee for gas and accommodations may apply.
How and when will we receive our photos?
Since I’m a part-time photographer, I truly appreciate your patience with turnaround times! For weddings, I typically send sneak peeks within two weeks, with full galleries delivered within 90 days. Event galleries are delivered within two weeks, with a small additional charge for the quicker turnaround due to demand. For sessions like seniors, portraits, engagements, maternity, and families, you can expect your full gallery within 30 days. All galleries are delivered digitally, fully edited, unmarked, and ready for you to download and print freely.
Unsure how long to book me for?
Here’s how my session timing and image delivery works:
- 30 minutes – includes around 45 edited images
- 60 minutes – includes around 90 edited images
- 90 minutes – includes around 145 edited images
Outfit changes are welcome, but please note: they are included in your session time. If you're booking a 90-minute session and plan to wear three outfits, make sure they’re easy to change in and out of so we don’t lose too much time. Just something to consider when choosing outfits.
For family sessions, if you’d like to do an outfit change, I recommend booking 60 minutes or more.
These guidelines help ensure we get the best photos possible while keeping the experience smooth, relaxed, and enjoyable for everyone.
Unsure what to wear?
I want you to feel like yourself during your session, so I always recommend choosing outfits that reflect your personality and style. That said, here are a few tips to help your photos feel timeless and natural:
- Stick to neutral or earth tones—they photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on you.
- If you're planning to hang your photos in your home, consider colors that complement your decor.
- Try to avoid bright, bold colors or large logos, which can be distracting in photos.
- If you love vibrant colors, let’s keep the pop of color in the setting (like a field of wildflowers), and opt for more subtle tones in your clothing.
Most importantly—wear something you feel good in. Comfort and confidence always show through the lens.
